Hi everyone,
Please enjoy this week’s 4 points!
1) Specialness
The great Sam Harris said it didn’t matter what peak experiences you’d had, what insights you’d been able to come up with while meditating, how enlightened you felt after all the years of practice and study. All that really counted, he said, was what you could muster in the course of ordinary, day-to-day life, or more specifically, in any one present moment.

2) Emotions
Emotions have had a bad reputation
Emotions contain information
Emotions assign values to things
Emotions also tell you whether you are moving toward your goals or away from them.

3) Learning to fail
The famous philosopher Diogenes the Cynic was once seen begging for money from a statue. What on earth are you doing, someone asked. “I’m getting practice in being refused,” he replied.
I’ve talked to a couple professional basketball players, baseball players, and entrepreneurs, and one thing they’ll all tell you is that a person who is afraid to strike out, afraid to miss, afraid to fail is a person who will not succeed.

4) Quote of the week
“You must always be prepared to work without applause.”
-Ernest Hemmingway
Thank you for your time and attention this week.
Much love,
Kyle
i would add even when you do succeed you sometimes pay a price for that, if one person, or a group feel secretly jealous. The Olympic figure skater who got kicked is an example of that.
